In an interview given to RTV on the 27th July 2024, Chanchal expressed his happiness about the curfew since it allowed him to spend more time with family -  completely ignoring the events happening outside his home. He also wanted for things to come back to normal in the same interview. Nonetheless, he is known to be supporting Awami League. He currently lives in his own flat in Vertical 2, road 2, Priyanka runway city, Baunia, Jashimuddin Avenue, Uttara.
